Summer Academic Recovery
Join us on our journey toward equitable education! We are asking our key partners and community to rally friends and family to support our Summer Academic Recovery Program.
Our Summer Academic Recovery Program aims to help students bridge learning gaps they may have experienced during the pandemic. Learning loss can be mitigated with immediate, targeted and research-based approaches.
Last summer we expanded summer offerings for students and will continue to do so this year. The four-week program will provide intense, targeted intervention strategies for up to 150 students in math and literacy with remote self-guided support for all 400 Erie students. It costs approximately $300 per student for the full summer programing.

The road to recovery will be a long one, and we need to start now. The summer program is just the first step of many to come in our work toward academic recovery. By donating to Erie Elementary, you give educators the tools they need to support students, and students access to the resources they need to thrive. We use classroom-level data, align teaching strategies to support each individual student, and host targeted small group sessions for 150 of our students who benefit most.
