$400 towards $1,500

For many students, learning virtually during the pandemic has been incredibly challenging. Erie Elementary Charter School needs your help sponsoring students in our Summer Academic Recovery Program.

Through my design consulting work with Erie Elementary, I've seen firsthand how dedicated Erie's staff is to supporting students and parents, especially during the pandemic. Erie's Development Director, Jaclyn Fierro, worked tirelessly last year to provide every student with a Chromebook to make distance-learning possible, and the staff implemented systems to coordinate in-person learning support pods on campus this semester.

Even so, some students need additional support to ensure that they don't fall behind over the summer. Erie Elementary's 4-week Summer Academic Recovery program will provide intense, targeted intervention strategies in math and literacy for 150 students. $300 sponsors one student – I'm crowdfunding for a pod of 5 students to attend Erie's summer program. Together, we can ensure that every student starts this fall with the skills they need to succeed in school. Donate today!
